Allegan County, located in the southwest part of Lower Michigan, has 25 miles of coastline along Lake Michigan and is the 18th largest county in Michigan. Still mostly rural in nature, maintaining an agriculture and tourist-based economy, Allegan County is one of the fastest growing regions of the state.
Close to the many Lake Michigan amenities, Orchard Hills Village can be found in Fennville in the western portion of Allegan County. The area offers fine golf courses, horseback riding, and hunting and game/bird watching at the nearby Todd Farm game preserve and Allegan Forest.
In the northeastern section of the county, Windsor Woods Village can be found in the growing community of Wayland. Known for providing a high quality, small town environment with the amenities of a larger community, Wayland is only 30 minutes south of Grand Rapids, 40 minutes north of Kalamazoo and 45 minutes east of Lake Michigan.
